Cristiano Ronaldo turns 26 years old today and wishes to celebrate tomorrow by becoming the Madridista to score 50 goals in the fewest league games.

Ronaldo has been on the team one and a half years, and continues to dazzle the world with his ease for breaking records. Cristiano has become the team's lead forward ever since he made his debut against Deportivo on 28 August 2009. Cristiano Ronaldo  made the 2010 FIFA World XI and currently leads the Pichihi Trophy ranking with 22 strikes netted in 21 games. By scoring two goals against Real Sociedad tomorrow, Ronaldo would become the Madridista to tally 50 strikes in the fewest league games, overtaking legendary Madridista Puskas, who did it in 54 encounters.

Cristiano is a true football veteran despite his young age. Cristiano Ronaldo  was born in Portuguese city Madeira in 1985 and started to play football in small local club Andorinha. Cristiano Ronaldo  joined Sporting Lisboa when he was 11, eventually making his debut with the first team in 2001.

The player caught the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed him for Manchester United, with whom he became the best player in the world and won the Ballon d'Or, the FIFA World Player, the Golden Boot and the FIFPro World Player awards in 2008.

Ronaldo attended training this morning just like any other day. Cristiano Ronaldo  joked around with his team-mates, especially with Marcelo, one of his best friends on the squad. Everyone wished him the very best of birthdays.
